Mid-Atlantic District Ladies Retreat | September 25-27
Join other women from across the Mid-Atlantic District Church of the Nazarene for a weekend retreat.
Speaker: Ashley McDonald
Location: Rhodes Grove Camp & Conference Center, Chambersburg PA
Register by August 10. You MUST know your roommate before you can register. Rooms can house two, three, or four ladies. Here's the link.
VBS Starts! | August 10th-13th, 6:00pm to 8:30pm
Join us for the "Rainforest Falls" VBS, taking place from each night. VBS is open to kids aged 4-years old (as of August 1st) through 2025-2026 5th graders. Register HERE!
Women of Faith Summer Supper | August 19, 6-8pm
The Women of Faith ladies bible study group will meet for fellowship and dinner in the Lobby.
Rugged Dudes at Metal Mechanics | August 19, 6-8pm
The Rugged Dudes men's group will meet at Doug Epperly's shop (Metal Mechanics)

PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
August Café Ministry | Harford Family House (school age kids)
All donations made for cafe treats this month will go to help provide for the Back to School needs of the school age children who are served through our local partner, Harford Family House. Harford Family House, Inc. assists families and individuals experiencing homelessness in Harford County to achieve independence through housing, support, and resources dedicated to improving their financial stability and mental well-being.
VBS: Rainforest Falls | August 10th-13th, 6:00pm to 8:30pm
We would love for the church to join us in partnering for VBS! There are three ways you can be part of this week.
Christmas Musical, Pull Tabs Needed!
The youth Christmas Musical this year is called “The Silent Knight”. Tracie Moots will need hundreds (if not thousands!) of pull tabs from cans. Could be soda cans, soup cans - anything that has a pull tab, but preferably all silver. Tracie will start collecting the tabs October 1, but you can start saving them at home now.
Lovli Life: Participant "Baby Shower"
Our local partner, Lovli has a “soon to graduate” Embrace Grace participant and Lovli had her create a wish list of baby and motherhood items she needs/wants. This mother is a bit different than their usual participants as she is living in sober living, completely turning her life around, going to school to be an MA and doing extremely well. She lives in Baltimore city. If you're interested in sending her a gift you can check out her Amazon Wish List or her Walmart wish list online. Items ordered will be sent directly to this new mother.
Sundi’s Gift Fundraiser | September 12, 7pm
On September 12 one of our Ministry Partners, Sundi’s Gift will hold their 2nd annual Bull & Shrimp Roast at Superior Catering Hall in Baltimore. The event includes all you can eat food & beverages, raffles and silent auctions. For more information check out the flyer on the bulletin board or reach out to Linda Smith with questions.
IMMEDIATE NEED: While We’re Waiting Retreat
We are still in need of a meal for this Friday, Sept 25. If you are able to provide a meal of comfort foods for approximately 22 people please reach out to the church office at [email protected] or 410-838-8290. The meal should be dropped off at the church on Friday morning with any heating instructions attached. The families participating in this retreat for grieving parents will be so grateful for your gift of time in providing this meal.

If you are going into your senior year, we would love to gather together, set the intentions for the school year and pray over this senior year together!
Blessings of the Backpack Picnic | August 26, 6-8pm
Join us for a Back-to-School Picnic! We will have a FREE picnic consisting of fried chicken and PBJ, watermelon, chips, and dessert. Bring your backpack for a time of blessing for the new school year, join us for games and activities. And for those interested in participating . . . we will have a paint war! Wear clothes that you don't mind getting messed up! Sign up HERE!
