We serve children from 6 weeks- 12 years old
PURPOSE
Hickory Child Development Center (HCDC) is a non-profit ministry of the Bel Air Church of the Nazarene.
Our purpose is to provide a loving environment where children can develop socially, emotionally, and intellectually.
We strive to provide children with the opportunity to reach their optimum development and a smooth transition from Preschool to Kindergarten. We are licensed by the State Department of Education, Child Care Administration.
CURRICULUM
Our balanced curriculum will stimulate learning in a safe and secure environment.
In addition to supporting you as parents, the children will encounter music, art, crafts, reading, science, math and language arts. The classes are staffed with a certified teacher and a teaching assistant.
A typical day will include:
· Circle Time, Singing & Dancing
· Educational Centers
· Pre-reading and writing skills, letters, numbers, shapes, and colors
· Story Time
· Bible & STEM Classes
· Arts and Crafts
· Socialization Skills
· Large muscle development
· Fine motor activities
· Bible stories
