Wednesday, December 14th Advent Mini-Devo - By Heather Ingram.
As a parent, nothing brings me more joy than seeing my kids actively display the fruits of the spirit. It brings me joy to see them loving others like Jesus, showing kindness to those around them, or when they make a joyful noise in the car, as we sing our hearts out to the latest song on Bright FM.
Just like I delight in the joy the love of Jesus brings to my kids’ hearts, Jesus delights in our joy as he watches us live out a story that places him front and center. He finds joy when we believe in his goodness, despite our circumstances. He finds joy when our purpose is centered in Him and not our own ways. He finds joy when we are inclusive and make room at the table for all.
When we see with the heart of Jesus, joy will abound in all that we do.
