Saturday, December 3rd Advent Mini-Devo - By Linda Lowe.
I am so grateful for God’s unending love for us and the gift of salvation. I live with the exciting truth that this life is not the end. We will be spending eternity with our Lord and Savior. Sometimes things are said to bring up the past. God calls us to forgive but sometimes forgetting is harder. I believe God brings good in all situations we are in. Do some things still hurt when we think of them? Yes, but God has a way of letting us reflect on the joy that came out of the place of hurt.
Romans 8:28 says, “We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him”.
I feel it is important for those around us to see that the joy in our life comes from God and not our circumstances. My dad always said, “There will never be anything that you and God can’t handle." Isaiah 41:10 says, “Do not fear; for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God."
